Work for four hours in Saturday, get free wheelin for the weekend.

Our campsite needs some work, and X-way could use a little trimmin'.

TNT is going, and asked if we wanted to join.

Who's game?

I was at Barnwell last (3/12/05) weekend and the SWXC camp was very clean. Although, I didn't check the fire pit and the trash can has been removed. X-way trail was fenced raked and is fine, it is to early in the season for a lot of weed and/or tree branch trimming but on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the lowest rating) I say the trail (X-way) maintenance is about a 2+.

Uh... what happened to our trash can?

We didn't ever decide to remove it on purpose did we?

The chains and can where completely gone, the two upright post are still there but other than that no evidence of a trash can ever even being there was present. If I recall correctly, the last time we were there Scott for the new TMTC management meeting, they requested that all made made object were to be hidden (like the metal fire pit) and if it wasn't they were going to remove whatever it was that could be seen from the service road... frown

There is a chance I'm going to be able to make this trip.

After doing some mild wheeling with some friends last weekend, I wanna do something a little tougher. We'll have to see though....

Anybody know if Barnwell has implemented their new hours....like opening up the gates on Thursday night?

I might have to take Friday off and head out there early.

I too am up in the air about this... I want to go and help but I'm also going to the Beach Cleanup next weekend and still have the rear main seal leak.

That is why I posted to see who is ACTUALLY going.
