I just recently became a member and am curious how far in advance the trips are made, the way my scheduling works I need to plan in advance. I really look forward to meeting the group and enjoying the Xterra. Lubbock Texas doesent offer much in the way of wheeling areas.

Club trips aren't really set-in-stone scheduled (other than big events like GOX, goneMOAB, the Plant Tour and quarterly meetings). Rather someone says 'Hey, want to go to on the ?' and people begin to reply. With that in mind, you will *generally* have about a 4-5 weeks notice.

Thats perfect, Im just so damn ready to get out there. If I seem overly excited, its because I've lived in this "social life desert" for so long its going to be nice to have time to get out and enjoy.

Anybody know if there is a place somewhere between Dallas and Lubbock that we could go and road with our new member?

Ooh, sheeit that's far. I didn't really know where Lubbock was so I just looked it up: 340 miles from here... yikes.

Yeah - you're more than welcome to come to Barnwell on Nov 22 - it's going to be big - but it will end up being like 9 hours for you. Barnwell is almost to Louisiana.

damn brother that is far, but its not the distance rather do I have the time off from the hospital and most importantly will the boss(wife) let me go. Boy would't be nice if I could get my balls out of the attic and bring them to.

Seeing as how you're in Lubbock, you might have more frequent trips if you hook up with the West Texas Xterra Club The SWXC is all inclusive, but Texas is a damn big state! [Wave]
