Come one , Come all.

TNT Is putting together a Barnwell run on the 7th of Feb. We are also planning a mid January Mod party to install those mods Santa brought before the run.

The SWXC quarterly meeting is scheduled for the 24th. Can you push the run to Feb 7?

Yes, there are quite a few of us going. We generally meet at a Wal-Mart in Garland right of 635 around 0730 the day of the trip. I am sure someone will post the address as the day approaches. (I would, but I forgot what it is, I just know how to get there. Dan you have the Wal-Mart's addy?)

The majority of it is not, but you could always ride shotgun with someone... Plus the group is going to camp, so there is that to...

Got my daughter that weekend... I would just send her to her grandparents, but I haven't spent the weekend with her in just over a month... we need some "bonding" time... basically, she sits in front of the PS2 while I'm on the computer... Maybe one of these days a trip will be scheduled on a weekend other than the 1st and 3rd weekends...

We have gone both ways and it seems I35 to I20 to 155 is the best... no stop and go in the little towns. However,I am up for either way. I am taking Friday afternoon off so I can leave or meet whenever you guys from Austin or SA can work it.

Just email or call 254-715-8328 cell 254-859-3333 home

Spending? Gas money, entrance fee, food. Do the math and it should easily be under $80, depending on how you eat.....

You'd be suprised at how far a 4x2 can go though. I was suprised. Last time we went there were I guess 3 4x2's and we didn't have to tow them up everything. I can only think of maybe 3 or 4 times, wasn't too bad, but of course it had been very dry, so most of the trails weren't muddy. I remember only have to pull ruttdigger twice. hehe :p

Roger, and anyone from San Antonio and Austin.

We (amanda and me) have friday open and would like to caravan. We would like to set camp up before dark, but if no one else can leave early enough to do so that will be ok. We just don't know where the camp or the park is. That and it's always much cooler to go in a group.

ANYONE FROM AUSTIN OR SOUTH OF AUSTIN LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU CAN MAKE IT AND WE'LL ALL DRIVE TO WACO AND MEET ROGER AT THE TRUCK STOP, and then move onward to dallas and maybe meet more folks or go to barnwell.

ROGER I will meet you, what time do you think you will be ready to leave?

call me or email
512-296-8518
snakeyez@austin.rr.com

thanks
Brian

I will be ready anytime after lunch. So just let me know what time the last person fron your way can come up and we will meet.

I am sleeping in my truck so no real worry about setting up after dark smile

Just let me know. Brian I will call you Friday to confirm times and such...

still need to hear from a few people but I'm thinking about leaving Austin around 1:30 or so.
That would put me to Roger around 3 and to teach around 4:30 5:00.
how long is it to barnwell from dallas? 2 hours? how late can we enter the camp?

Let me know what you guys think about the timelines, can be there anytime on friday...

Looks like it going to muddy and cold (overnight lows in the upper 20 Friday, and lower 20's Saturday), but at least there's no rain in the forecast.

Keep warm

Eh - it's 2.5 hrs or so from here. Unless something has changed with the acquisition of the park at the entrance, they open up the gate Friday evening and leave it open all weekend - so no worries getting there late.
