Glad you guys had fun.

Saturdays are tough for me to do anything earlier than mid to late afternoon but I'm glad you guys got out there and had some fun.

I just dropped my film off at walmart. We just got home about 30 minutes ago I got 1 hour service so goin to get it and i'll post a few. I ordered the 35mm on CD as well

It's all about doing what you're comfortable with... only about half of us chose to go through that ravine (The trail is called Clyde's Ravine FYI)

For sure. Barnwell can be hard, really hard, in places, but really easy in others. Come out on the next run if ya can. Ride what you feel comfortable doing, back down if ya have to. No superheroes in this group (well except maybe Roger) .

I just discovered I damaged something Rear left side sits one inch lower than the right. Its either a leaf spring or shock issue? Only 2 things I can see holding the X up in the back.

Anybody drive up Clyde's Ravine as opposed to down it?) I always thought up was harder...not that is for me anymore

Was a legitimate question. I've seen Roger and Chris and Russell drive up it, and I am sure a few others. Did Matt SE-V6 make it?

I think Matt only made it half way, when he was stradling it. But maybe he has on another time....

why did you not straddle that ravine? Too slick?

I'm pretty sure Matt went back another time and conquered it when you weren't there, Snake.

Carlton, there is no way to straddle Clyde's Ravine. At the bottom you can kinda straddle it, but then the passenger side turns into a vertical wall and is too far away from the other side. I've seen a few people try to straddle it, but eventually they fall in and scrape the heck out of the passenger side (going up it, not down it)

Keith, we replaced the motor mount yesterday and we had to go to RoundRock Missan to get it. We replaced it with no real hassles except for the "Nissan Gorilla" torqueing them on. Not a lot of room to get any leverage on the nuts.

Abiel and Perla are on their way home today. Wish them a safe trip!!!

Hi all...

I´m still playing catch-up here at work, so now I wish to thank you all for the past great weekend we had with you at Barnwell, we had a real fun.

Specially, thanks to the people that helped us with our broken motor mount: Glen & Becky, Roger have strap ratchets to replace yours, Keith, great help keeping my engine in place to stay on trails, same for Roger, he helped me to get the new mount and installing it... his knowledge is awesome, after all, he´s good breaking things

Hey Chris (The Only 4x4 Desert Runner)...

Roger was a great help to change that motor mount at his place. He helped me to locate the piece at a dealer and doing the job...



Tomorrow I´ll work in the blown lower link spindle




The replacements arrived this week at my local dealer so I hope to be ready to wheel again soon

ooohhhh.. I didn't notice that thread before... sorry about the LCA - sounds like it can be a bitch to replace.
