OK, they seem to finally have solved the power steering leak. Now he says my rear main seal is leaking.

What may I check to verify it before turning in again? Is it a doable job at home or even a mod day?

I just took mine in for what we thought was the rear main seal. There was oil visible directly behind the oil pan (I can send photos if you want). It actually ended up being the rear of the oil pan. Thinking it was the RMS, they dropped the transmission to get to it, and it took the dealership almost a week to complete the work. They removed the skids, torsion bars, crossmembers, etc. Sounds like more than a mod day project.

Like I said on TNT - you may or may not need to fix it... unless it is leaking a lot it is not an emergency condition.

One thing to check on the power steering is that the hose atached to the bottom of the reservoir is tight. Niticed that mine was leaking when I did my last oil change. turned out that the two hose clamps were loose. tightened both of them, and no more leaking.
