Our next quarterly meeting is gonna be on Jan 15, 2005 at a location TBD in DFW. We are going to go over exciting stuff such as my shoe size, meet and greet the new officers for 2005, and raffel off a Hi-Lift jack (and maybe some other stuff).

We are gonna try something new this time; a "crusie in" at Sonic.

So, 2PM on the 15th at the Sonic in Coppell, TX (I will post the address sometime before Saturday).

And, since a Hi-lift, tow straps and T-shirts are just not enough for some (Roger ), we are also going to have a raffle for a tent!

Baertrax is having an event that day. Open shop, free access to tools and a huge ole wrench-a-thon. I'm not planning on doing and work on my Jeep, but i know some guys who are gonna be doing some things that I will be doing before this year is over, so I wanna see how its done and get some tips and pointers.

I'm under the impression that no beer is gonna be supplied, so naw, I'm not gonna help.J/K. I'll help where needed, just so I have hands on experience on how to do a BL and a MML.

I'm going to be joining ya'll on the 15th. Excited to meet more memebers. Also, I got a friend of mine who's into X's but isn't able to be in the club b/c she's only 17.

1) Can I still bring her if she isn't 18? and
2) Can she bring her X?

I would like to make this event and meet all the club members since I am new, but since im moving into my apartment in mckinney from oklahoma that day, i am not going to be able to make it. However, I was wondering if there were some people that maybe would want to goto a bar the next weekend.

as long as this said meeting involves the consumption of beer I could probably make this..

Sorry BabyCapone - I probably won't be able to make the last two weekends in Jan (I know everyone is heartbroken :p ).. totally booked with these scuba classes (It is almost ALL weekend... 7-10pm Fri, and 9am-6pm Sat, 9am-6pm Sun on the 21-23rd (will technically be free in the evening but will probably be near-dead). Then the next weekend we'll be way out in west Texas for the open water dives (yes - there is actually a little bit of water out there - so they tell us)

Not Scott, but I believe the By-laws require a minimum age of 18 to join, not participate. She can certainly come, and bring her own X if she wants to.

^^^ Correct. You have to be 18 to join, but there is no age limit on who can attend any event.

I tried to get an '05 to bring to the meeting, but the only one we have in the Region is at the Healthfit Expo downtown this weekend.

Sorry.... going to try to make it with my '03 today.

This will be the last time I have an Xterra for at least a little while. Turning in the '03 X for a G35 to keep the wife in something comfy while I travel around. Going to get n '05 X or Frontier to travel in as soon as I can. Guess I'll have to get an Associate memberhsip!
