Had a great time wheeling with everyone and hope to do it again. You guys really ought to come down after it's rained more. Gets really slick then!

Are they any places to go Offroading in New Braunsfels or Austin...since you guys come all the way over here, I think it's fair for us SA guys to go over there once in awhile...

there are a few places here in Austin that are similar to the Den, creek beds and water run-offs. nothing worth driving from SA to see though. they are pretty small and are pretty much all private land. in other words, the Den is probably the best place in the area. Rick- what about that place in Marble Falls that you were talking about? How is that place?

Marble Falls = Slabs= closed frown

Katemcy is reasonably close (100 miles I'd guess) from Austin and SA guys can take 281.

I am going on the Oklahoma ride. The Heartland guys are fun to ride with.

Yeah, The Slabs was closed last year some time, cause of restrictions of Offroad use that congress passed not too long ago...yeah, we gotta hit Katemcy one of these days..

well that's no good. [ThumbsDown] i was reading about the Hogan's place in Disney, looks pretty cool. i'm going to see what i can do about heading up there, will wait for more info though.

if any of you guys want to go to the Den again soon, just let me know. the drive isn't too bad as long as gas prices don't go up any more. i'm even down for going again this weekend. not sure what the weather is supposed to do.

cool. sunday would be fine with me too. hopefully i'll have time to get the PML done by then, but i'm not sure. i may just have to lay off of some things like last week because of clearance (still have factory step rails on). i didn't have any problems with the stuff we did last time, so i should be cool. planning to get sliders sometime in the future.

that is good news. it would be good to meet you at some point. My wife and i are also looking for a house. i may ask you to share some of your experiences with me. this will be our first house and it's fair to say that we are a little lost when it comes to what to and what not to do.
