After all this is the Xterra Owners Club, not the X Off Road club. So how about a forum (that goes beyond 4X2)for those that want to slam their X or put on dubs etc. Sort of a safe haven for those with a little bit different taste, a place where they won't get flamed for their choices...

I started the "What part of the spectrum" post. I think that screwed me.

I haven't looked into it because I ain't got time for spectrums .

Trust me I am the last guy who thinks that driving up some hill using the second lever (or button in the 05-up case) makes a person more of a man. I am all for those who think that putting 20's and a mega sound system on a trucks, as long as they are happy with it and proud to drive an Xterra.

I just read the little line below 2wd and it says street topics only- doesn't 20's qualify as street only? :rolleyes:

So to satisfy both sides, just rename the 2WD forum description from "street topics only" to "Dude. Pimp my X."

i think "dude pimp my X" would be the wrong title, i do however think that if the title were more obvious, then those topics would not find there way into other forums, like general or wheels and tires, and suspension or where ever else they are started.

we have a safe haven for noobs, why not for folks that have a different opinion of how they want they're truck to look.

im not saying i agree with what others do, but its their truck and their money.

If this was a Ford F250 site that would be out of the question too, most lifted fords around here are running 20-24in. rims with MT's.

Its not a bad idea, however I think the lack traffic would bring it to is demise fairly quick. I could be wrong there are alot of "younger" folks out there trying to out do one anothers stupid "car dressing/destroying/disgusting anticks"
