Just a thought. So that the community can self police spammers, what if an area was added to a person's profile that if say 5 people clicked and said they were not a legit person (ie spammer) then the profile would automatically get deleted and delete all the posts.

Maybe even make it so that it must be 5 "Supporting Memebers" that way you won't get spammers voting off real users since they'd have to pay $20 to have the right to do that.

Or just only allow the deletion for members with less than 100 posts. Once they have 100 posts, they can be considered legit. If the spam after that the mods can get 'em...

That guy this morning had more then 100 post in just a few minutes.. I was literally sitting at my computer watching him post up bs. There was another person that registered an account while it was ongoing.. did his account get deleted??

how about a way for people to freeze accounts. Or give all mods the ablility to kick people off.. I was online last night watching that a-hole spam the site.. I was waiting for him to hit XTC-HI but I guess he saw that I just posted something. Since this site has viewers in almost all 50 states we cover almost all timezones. Like when it was 3:40am it was only 11:40 in HI, prime time of me to be distracted from my project to look XOC.

U need a few "SUPER MODS" that have that ability. I have 2 on SlotCarAddicts, and we're only 500 members. AllTerrainRiders has about 6 now I think, I lost track.... And we're at 2,000 members, it's waaaay bigger here..

Even though I hate spammers I never delete their accounts. By not deleting them it saves me the trouble of banning the email addy and if in the future they come back asking why they can not use a specific e-mail addy I know why.

hmmm... i din't know that "mail.ru" was a spammer generator. All it is is email service on Russian servers. Hmmm.

True *Mail.ru is just a Russian based email server, but since three spammers from my site verified there email there, I decided to block it anyway.
