To begin with, I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum, but it seemed like the best choice.... I was wondering if any special permission is needed( From the one they call "Ian" I would suppose...) to use XOC name, images, address, and so forth to create a business card like device to give to other interested Xterra owners. I'm not talking about a massive promotional blitz or anything, but rather 5-10 cards I could have in my wallet and give to interested parties, so as to avoid the "what did you say that website was again?" sort of questions. Or if you'd rather it be kept secret, just let me know.
Thanks for the great site!

As long as it's used with the best interests of the Xterra Owners Club site then yes.

Please do not put them under windshield wipers, or anywhere else on someone's vehicle.

You could also hand out stickers.

Stickers. I've heard about them, often with much associated discussion. How and where are they available, and how contoversial are they? Or is that more a matter of placement?

I don't understand the rest of your question.

"Matter of placement?" confused

Um, you aren't suggesting that you might attach them (stick them) on another person's vehicle without their consent, are you?

Just asking . . .

Yes. Maybe even twice on Sundays.

No. Not at all, I even find cards/flyers put on cars to be a bit much, I was more joking than anything. In the past, in other forums/threads, I'd heard mention of XOC stickers, some praise, some bemoaning, and just general commenting. Given the nature of this board I was wondering if the stickers were actually controversial, the particular placement of said sticker, or if it was just another topic to bicker about. I'm reasonably certain that if I posted this in the 'Clubhouse', with a day of so it would have devolved into either a political debate or a so called 'booty thread'. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to sound negative.... I love some of the conversations and the turns they take, you all seem like some interesting people, maybe some day I'll make it to a GOX and get to meet some of you. Till then, thanks for the great site, good conversation, and always interesting opinions.
