Originally posted by NY Madman: There might be some good movies coming out in 2007, but according to the list above.... most of them seem like movies for kids. Which ones? There are movies in there that kids can see, yes, but most of that list are either movies from the majority of our childhoods, or movies that kids should not be seeing (not including Harry Potter, but I know alot of adults that enjoy the HP series). Besides that, I'm not sure what theater you go to, but around here the vast majority of people going to the movies are pre-teens, teenieboppers, and teens. There are not that many adults until the later shows. I RARELY even go to the theater because of this, and if I do, it's usually the last showing of the day.

I can't wait to see Transformers, the Marvel movies and Pirates 3. Thanks for the links, Hawk! PS-Mummy 3? Brendan Fraser sucks more dick than a $5 crack whore. Talk about shitty actors.

The Mummy franchise was the best fiction adventure series until the last 20 minutes of the second one, and of course, the Scorpion King. Wow, what a turd.

I just hope the Sin City follow ups are as great as the first one. I missed the first in the theater; didn't think much of it. Saw it on video, and holy crap! That was the best movie of the year two years ago, by far.

Just got back from Pirates. Good special effects and Kiera is hot. Otherwise, the word lame comes to mind.

If you want adult entertainment check out "Black Book", a Dutch film on the underground resistance movement in Holland during final months of WW II. Great film with terrific productions values (meaning, tits and ass ). _Lazza
