i am starting to get a little 'desert pinstriping' on my new x and was wondering if anyone has looked into using the paint protectors that many hunters use.

this one is removable and i could live w/ the camo while out wheeling

this one doesn't appear to be removeable (often) but it is hard to tell.

i figure i can cut enough to fit each side and put them on before i head out (don't really want to drive around w/ camo all over my truck.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that even though it's advertised as removable, it's not meant to be done often.

The camo I mean. I wouldn't count on the clear being easy to get off at all.

I bet a fully camo ed x would look pretty tough!

My 05 has the clear paint protector on the rear quarter panels right in front of the rear wheels. I was thinking of getting some for the hood. I don't like the bug deflectors. I wouldn't be taking it off.

I go to my buddy's ranch occasionally and the mequite pin stripes the paint every time.

Edit: Anybody else out there using the clear paint protector plastic other than what comes on it stock?
