I used Meguires wax and it looks even better then when I picked it up from the dealer. I took off the basket and the wind deflector. I kind of like the way it looks without them. That should answer your questions. BTW - the ONLY thing they make that hasn't worked for me is the wheel cleaner. Not harsh enough. Everything else is premo!
