We rolled on the Herculine today. Andrew came over to help and do his truck but decided to hold off until he takes his sliders off to ease the process.

Here it is before.

and after!

It took a couple of hours to for the herculiner to set up. The heat helped out a bunch. If you deal with this stuff put some cardboard down beneath it so you don't get it all over the driveway. Also for your safety, wear old clothes and get some inexpensive nitrile gloves or something to protect your skin from the Herculiner.

Yup, it was a clean roll on, i think we (mostly you) did an awesome job. Now to get mine done now that I know its "safe" lol. DIdnt take too long, waiting for the first coat to dry was the longest, good thing you had a PS2 and Goldeneye.

Do i hear a new nickname for your X? Bumble bee??

I like that a lot...I might get yelled at for doing this to an '05 wink But I'm really thinking about doing that once I get the mods on my new X...(sliders, BFG A/T's, front bumper whenever it's available, etc...)...do you think that would be crazy? I mean, I didn't buy it to put it in Mall Wheel Drive [Too much XOC]

Seems like a lot of us have been experimenting with Herculiner lately...did mine like 2 months ago...lower rocker panels and door sills and such...really blends in on my black X...

Mine's up next, going to do the TJM up front and the Skid Row in the rear as well as the body below the moulding (sp?), should be fun!

The Kumho's were like $115-$120 a piece from Tire Rack...fast shipping, great customer service...

Thinking of using White Herculiner on the fenders of our Xterra...

I'll hopefully be able to pound out the dings and work on getting the fenders back to original shape with some puddy and sanding. As far as the white herculiner, I hope it will look good because once I put that stuff on there is no going back.

Did some photoshop...

What do you all think of the textured white fenders?

The sides of my Frontier have been herculined for about 6 years now. It's holding up great.
