You ought to be able to ship the step rails for under $40 if you package them right. Take the brackets off and box 'em separate with the hardware, and wrap the tubes up in an unfolded box or two with lots of tape and some padding. FedEx ground for mine from MD to somewhere out west was $27 or so.

Mailboxes Etc. is like this for some reason. They love to package your stuff and charge you an arm and a leg for them for some reason. I try to avoid them now when possible.

well how much would it be through UPS to ship them. if you find a cheaper way to ship them, i will overnight you the money. the siderails that is.
