Wrangler MT/Rs, picked up this week crazy cheap, and my Hi-Lift finally gets mounted. Pic from Oak Ridge Estate in Lovingston, VA today.

Won't the hitch protect it from departure angle mishaps?

i should note that Oak Ridge is private property, and not open to anyone without extremely special permission.

I wheeled there once with a Jeep club. Isn't there a big old plantation house there or something? It was closed when I was there. But yeah, permission to wheel was like giving up your left nut or something.

Looks like the trailer hitch will protect it, unless he hits it at a 90 degree angle or from either side of the hitch. From the looks of the tailpipe, it's not too far out of the realm of possibility.
