I drove the X on sand for the first time today! I loved every minute of it. There was a big 4 wheel drive truck near by to pull out rookies like me who didn't know what they were doing. Thanks to the X I didn't need him! There were some looser patches of sand though that I could tell it wouldn't have been a good idea to come to a complete stop in. What fun!

it amazes me how hard the sand is there.. Over here if I don't air down to 12 PSI I'll be sitting there all day just barely moving.. Here are a few pics of what happens if your not careful.

Wow! I had no idea that could happen. Thanks for posting those pics! I drove near the water's edge as the sand was harder there. However, between the water's edge and the entry point the sand was dry and it kind of felt like if I lost my speed things could go bad. Perhaps it wasn't just a feeling.

Cools pics! I need to visit Hawaii sometime. I surf here a lot but I know it is pretty poor compared to what you get over there. Here is a pic from a surf outing today. It was small but better than nothing I guess.

Ahhh, Tierra del Mar. I was there in January, and am hopefully going back again this January. My gf's aunt owns a house there right on the beach. Walked up and down that beach several times. Ah the memories.....
