We liked that one the best. There are different one on ebay right now. not sure how those work but mine was a decal that goes on the lense itself. You could put it on the window itself but it looks more finished under the glass and on the lense.

But of course .. It plugs right into my Orinoco Classic Gold car. Once I have a general area I switch to the pringles can to get better reception. It worked beautifully cross country.
Its scary how many open networks there are.

On the way to Spring Rally (SC to Flordia) I logged over 1800 open AP's and approx 200 locked ones until Netstumbler locked...

I use an Orinoco A/B gold card, with that same antenna. I was suprised it didn't fly off at 75mph!

It's nice to be in the middle of nowhere and STILL have internet access!

Ebay.

Exterior - note the upper left corner of the XOC decal is gone, a victim of last winter's ice storm in Atlanta. The white decal with the camo heart and ribbon says 'anysoldier.com' (check it out - great way to support the troops). The yellow one says, 'Alaska' at the top and 'The Great Land' (and it is...) at the bottom. Note the black reflective third brake light decal is not visible in the first shot but shows up under the flash.





This is my interior decal, which is a metallic silver and looks great against the gray dash.

Got that and the 3rd brake light decal from the same guy, an XOC member named Adam. Can't recall his XOC member name and my recent hard drive crash wiped his e-mail out of my address book. With luck, he'll see this and post his contact details.

Re this thread, one thing I don't get is placing decals on your paint. Unless you're planning to drive your vehicle till it's dragged off to the junkyard, that seems like something that can come back to haunt you when it comes to resale value. Removing the decal will probably leave a 'ghost' imprint where the paint was protected from weathering. Just a thought.

And to Spider 007, I'm not a fan of the Atomic Orange X but your orange rack decal looks pretty damn cool.

Can anyone direct me where to get one of the "X-Rated 4x4" stickers that a few of you have. I have looked on Ebay as well as everywhere else on the internet I could think of, without success. If anyone knows where to get them, please email me at bghess_sp@yahoo.com

oh well, everyone's got their feeling on what kind of ride they want. I'm in the middle of doing a few other upgrades and wanted to build my own "R", not just cosmetic mods. Going to get my engine looked at by a buddy that does 350z's and going to go for at least 320 hp when I'm done. that along with upgraded shocks and some suspension mods, and the only exterior change would be the badge. I like stealthy speed, in the vein of the Grand Cherokee SRT8. sorry if no one else likes it... I know a lot of this board goes for the off road stuff, I prefer more on the street with occasional jaunts off road. I spend the majority of my time on roads so I prefer mods that enhance that.

I think you got some good ideas, D Rock... But I agree that is the wrong badge for your ride... Because you're not building an SE-R, you're actually building an S-E-X...

The cool thing about having such a versatile truck and so many options out there to modify them is that each person can do what they want to make themselves happy. I've never said that I want to drive 90+ in my truck, I just like power. What's there to understand, it's not like I expect everyone else to do what I want to their trucks. I thought that these forums were to share ideas and stuff, not sit and crap on others just because it's not what YOU want to do with your vehicle. There's a lot of people who seem to have such an attitude with what other people do, if you don't want your truck to have power or whatever, then don't do it.

I'm building my motor now for (I'm hoping) around 300hp. But with the right gears and SAS, I hope to go slower, but more powerfully.

Speed? Not unless you wanna see a huge black ball o' steel with me in middle going "Maybe I shoulda left the sway bars on...".

Would you share what it is you are doing to your engine? Anything good beyond cams,TB, headers? I'm really looking for engine mods (not as wild as completely tearing down the motor nad headwork) to get some more HP. Have you discovered anything new that produces results?

Rear door window: barcode sticker for the local toll road.

Back side window, counterclockwise from top-left: AYSO Soccer, Shrockworks, K&N, Jack Ingram (local Nissan dealer who treats me right), Appalachian Trail (Round sticker), SXFC Spring Rally 2005, GSM (Great Smoky Mountains - Oval sticker).

Rear window, pretty obvious. Faded "X" sticker from Nissan, X-Rated sticker, SXFC club sticker, Shrockworks sticker.

Rear hatch: Magnetic AYSO Soccer sticker (my wife keeps slapping it back on the truck every time I try to hide it in the garage...)

Well since I had a hand in a lot of the stickers in this thread, I thought I would post up my collection.

Looks like your antenna hits the side of your truck too cut a hole trough a tennis ball and put it on your antenna where its hitting the truck when you go offroad.

Yes. I would agreee i t is heavily modded, but it is still IFS. Going to SAS is the mother of all mods...IMHO.

Thanks guys...as for the question on the ARB, that was raised to accommodate the 2" body lift...as for the type of lift..it's an SLR 3" lift with the SLR 2" shackles, and Alcan Spring packs, along with a 2" body lift and some good amounts of sheetmetal trimming to fit the 35s...and for the IFS thing...that issue will be remedied at the end of January..already have the solid axle and the swap starts end of January as soon as the Calmini kit shows up (ordering that January 1st)

There aren't too many places that it can't go that SAS rigs go at the moment...the rear locker, 35s and crawler gears definitely help in that respect But as far as "most modded"...I would say it probably is one of the most modded Xterras around that isn't SAS'd I guess...and I'm fine with that assessment :p

its been 5 weeks for me

Xterra Adam...that pic was taken before I switched out the shackles...now it rides nice and level..the other shackles weren't big enough, and the shocks were always fully compressed.

But yes, 3" SLR, 2" body lift, and the springs were made specifically for that Xterra. Of course, there is a lot of weight on the rear (tire carrier, 35" tire, gas can, and co2 tank)...but now with the 2" SLR shackles, it holds it's ride height quite nicely. Also, the front fenders are trimmed out about 2" more than the rears on the top...so even at even ride height, it's always going to look higher in the front...one of those illusion type things
