Is there any down travel? It looks like it has to be resting on the bumpstops.

What a useless pile of shit.

That thing is good for one thing, driving in a straight line on sand (when it's not in the shop getting ball joints replaced every week).

Luckily it has CALMINI steering on it.

I only see pictures of dirt roads. [Freak]
I've seen driveways worse than 'Tie-Rod Hill'.

I assume it's named that because poorly designed trucks like yours, with horribly offset wheels break tie-rods all the time. Let me help you out, it's called 'leverage' and an IFS truck like the Xterra can't handle that amount of offset and weight.

I wouldn't be surprised if you break the CALMINI tie-rods as well, because they aren't designed for what you have done to that poor Xterra.

I'd have to say it looks fairly useless with the bling bling rims too. But I'm sure people can say the same thing about my 34 x 9.50 tsls too.

I think that the truck looks unreal. I Love It. What exhaust do you have on it? What lifts do you have on it? Great job!!

those tires look more like 31's. i would think that even with your 3+3, 33's would be much closer to the fenders. i personally think they're too wide too but that's just me.

He took the mud flaps off the front, and I never heard any rubbing (I've wheeled with him plenty) Eastside has the AC BL, Sus L, AAL's+Shackles.....Like I say I've seen it up close and it's a freakin' monster! He is really testing out the Calmini Steering with those monster rims and tires!

thats just too wide... it looks like Ghetto Cady and an Xterra had babies...

i could only see justifying wheels that wide if you were running 44's

seriously... i have 15x7's with 31x10.5 the tires just look wrong when the wheel is the same width(or close to it) aside from the lack of protection for the wheel and flex of the tire.... i would be afraid to air that thing down for fear of busting a bead

the truck would look good if the wheels where like 10" or maybe 12" wide

I agree except to me it looks like the bumpstops may actually be removed. The angle of the lower A-Arms would indicate that plus the camber is way off indicating full droop. It's definatley set up for posing.

eastside... Sweet X man.. 1st one I actually like.

Hey check out this HB, I have an X, and I wheel with him in Florida, this SOB goes places I cant even imagine going and mine is jacked ( locked, compressor, 33's, all the trimmings ). I once had to have him pull me out strapped to another buddies X in some deep Florida mud. I swear this is the badest Nissan HB I ever seen. Its on 39 x 18 Mickey Thompsons, with 18 x 15 Weld Racing rims, custom upper A arms and a trick custom steering system, both designed by the owner, this guy knows his stuff. My guess, here in Florida he could prolly outwheel anyone on this board, or any Nissan owner for that matter, giving the Florida terrain. Those tires are sooo wide, we over inflated them 1 time, and well I dont know if you know the Caloosahatchee river down South, butthis dude is crazy, he crossed the river!!!!! Cops gave him a ticket when we got to the other side, carlesss driving, go figure... Anyway, check out some of these pics... Im sure youll just love em...

Again eastside... Sweetest.....

I don't know what the big deal is here...in the words of the immortal Rodney King..."Can't we all just get along?" [LOL]

Everyone here is gonna build thier truck to thier own liking and style of wheeling. I'm sure that the way Eastside is configured, it wouldn't make a rockcrawler (but let's face it, if you want to crawl, IFS ain't gonna be your best bet anyways, you're better off with a built up Jeep or Sami)

But for the beach runs (the majority of the wheeling accessible to us in Hawaii) the wider the tires the better. That X was just glidin' over the sand (untill I got stuck up to my frame and he had to try to pull me out)

Anyways, to each his own, build your rig custom to the wheeling you do and just enjoy it!

Anyone else notice that EVERY image that this moron posted shows his truck going in a strait line and on level ground? Perhaps that is how he keeps it from blowing up parts.

HawaiianHardbody..

If you making jokes about cows is the only way you can respond then that is just sad.

BTW. If you are trying to show how all of those wonderful AC products "fixed" your steering why don't you post the pics of your truck NOT looking like a club foot.

Im sure he would have pics of off camber things if he could find an off camber areas in the Everglades of Florida. Do you honestly believe someone would make a rig that didnt work for there area??? I mean who is the moron here??? If we lived in Moab, Im sure our rigs would be designed differently, dont you? Yes I think so...

I dont get people who dont realize this. confused confused confused

Well...you probably don't have too many sandy beaches over there in Colorado. But over here, where the majority of wheeling is on the beach, that setup is perfect. The wider the tire, the bigger your footprint, and the easier it is to float on the soft sand we wheel in.
99% of the trucks that wheel over here, Nissan, Toys, Fords, Chevys, Jeeps, no matter what, have very wide tires. If you don't have 'em, you are stuck...if you are locked front and rear, then you might have a chance. The rigs with wide tires just glide right over the sand. Anyone with "pizza cutters" has the sense not to try taking thier truck on the beach...too darn soft!
A rig built for wheelin on rocks will be configured differently than one built for the sand. People over here understand that and build them accordingly. When they have the "4X4 Tour around the island" every year, about 50 or 60 trucks all get together, all makes and models, and do a parade type thing around the island and downtown Waikiki. Maybe two or three trucks will have 11.5 or 10.5's. The rest really wide. It took me a while to get used to it, but after getting stuck out on the sand 3 times, I've learned my lessons.
Funny how none of you people live and wheel under these conditions, but have so many negative things to say about what you don't understand

Like I say it took me a lot of getting used to, but in an environment where everyone who wheels is doing it "Island Style", it's pretty much just a fact of life.

Me? I'm still runnin' 31x10.5's on stock wheels, mostly because I will be coming back to the mainlaind in a few months, and will probably never wheel on the beach after this. So...not worth it to me to spend the cash on wide wheels/tires, but if you click on my link, you can see how well I do in the sand  laugh ...compared to the guys I go out with...

Eh! To each his own cool

eek That's nuts! I saw somebody do that over here once...it was funny to watch all thier stuff go flying from the cargo area up front and out the front windows on impact [LOL] Nice shot though!

I may be dead wrong, but the sand looks nice and compact in the top shot...I'm telling ya...these beaches over here are like quicksand!
But not that I'm complaining about suffering on the beach through 80 degree weather and bikini girls all year round :p

That launch was probably in Pismo... in california - where we have BOTH beach and mountain wheeling! Sometimes, like at the CalX events - both in the same day.

We all do some crazy shit... both within and with out of bound of warrenty and sanity - but that's whay we're all here... isn't it?

We all drive Xterra's and love to brag about our lives.... lets all just get along anf enjoy the scenery along the way...

If you cant be quiet... shut the hell up and find another to add a few linesof code to... smile

Of course it looks like that beach cruiser will break tie-rods in moab, but its in Florida and staying there...... Its looks like am R/C and I like it! move on....
