I've been reading all the various tire posts on here and after reading them ALL I was wondering who all has the 17" wheels and what tire are you running? I have the BFG Long Trail tires on them at the moment but want to get a more agressive tire. I found the Interco SSR's that are close to the factory size and I also found a Dunlop Mud Rover that I like the looks of. I wish Yokohoma made the Geolander in the factory size since I am in love with that tire! Any other agressive tires out there...other than goodyear and firestone, that will fit without a lift??

Without a lift? Go 31" tires.

BFG AT's are a great option. Fellow UXOC member Weelit's truck with the BFG's below on 17" rims. He has a body lift and torsion bar crank so he's got 33" tires but you get the idea.

I went with BFG AT KOs in 265/70-17.

Here is a pic with them on:

Here is a pic with them and my AAL lift:

MUCH better tires than stock. No rubbing without the lift.

It looks like a Nissan guard like mine.. he just does not have the headlight protection inserts on.

So 31" tires and 33" tires on a 17" wheel would be what metric size? How do you figure backwards....from english to metric????
