Decisions, decisions...

Just got my wife a white, 2000 SE 4wd X to complimtent my red 2001 Tacoma ( http://www.greenamp.34sp.com/pics/sig14.jpg ). The X has 40k miles, and still has the factory BFG 265/70/15 land terains, so needless to say it needs new meats. So here's my predicament: I have a set of nearly new BFG 265/75/16 KO's that I took off my Tacoma for a bigger size to accomadate a newly added body lift. They are just sitting there, begging to go on my wife's X. Only thing is the X has 15's, and of course, no lift. So my choices are to either just sell my BFG's and use the $$$ to get some 15" tires, or find some 16" wheels and mount the BFG's on 'em. If I knew I could fit the 265/75/16's under the X I'd just go that route, but I have no clue if they will or not. Any advice?

Used the search function, am still reading, which is why I didn't ask about fitting the tires. I was asking for opinions on my options on my current situation, not whether or not I could fit the other tires

Any advice?[/QB] I thought this was what you had asked... my bad... not trying to be a dick... IMO, sell the 16's and go to a 32x11.5, tweak the t-bars, and ride on...

yes they will fit on a stock xterra with minor trimming of the front bumper plastic and front mudflap. you may also have to adjust the steering stops out so they dont rub on the brake line cover or torsion bar anchors. if you need to you can crank up the torsion bars alittle to gain alittle extra height.

No way, theres hardly any difference in road noise between a set of all terrains and the stock tires

Any advice? If you were to sale them, do you know what you would you ask for them? I have 3 trucks, all have new tires at this time; but I run the 265/75 16's and would be interested in extra spares.

Welcome to XOC, Brent

Sell'um and find some good street rubber for her. LOL, for one, you said *street rubber* , which Im sure is some sortof alusion to a past experience with TY I asked her if she would mind the extra road noise and she said she wouldnt, cause she really likes the BFG at's. I guees we'll just have to see  (But truth be known, the X is really for me )

Getty-up-go, Hey buddy, If I were to sell these I'd take $475 for them, plus I'll pay some of the shipping.
