I'm looking at Revos. Just curious if any next gen owners have tried putting a larger tire on their X w/o any mods that might affect clearance (lifts, trimming, etc.) and what their experience has been like, or if you know a buddy who has been successful with it. Pictures would be cool too.

That size your are lookin at is roughly a 31.8"ish tire and I've seen guys with 33's on with no modifications so you should be ok..

I know that stock OR has 265/75/16, which is probably close to equivalent of what would be my SE's 265/70/17 in terms of diameter, but I didn't know if the OR was lifted any higher due to different shocks.

Also, rubbing worried me a litte, especially if I ever required chains to get through icy weather.
