If you look closely you'll see that they must have re-labeled the box or something.Cause you can see a ghosting shadow of a different part # and it has a BS= 4.75.

Ok to clear it up.I just got off the phone with Cragar. And the wheels are a 4.75" backspacing for that tire and part number. The 5.00" backspacing has never been on that wheel or part number. wink

yep, mine's the same except it says manufactured on 10/30/06. but look at the sticker behind the one on top. you can see through it and it says 4.75" BS right there on the box.

looks like we all got 4.75 BS. o well, it still looks good. i like how they sit on the truck. sprays the mud nice too. with the stock rims, the mud wouldnt get past the sliders, but not anymore laugh

so i know the 5.5" bs is stock..5" is desired with the soft 8's but will the 4.75" work? well i know they will work but when stuffed will the hit alot? i have the 16" se charcoal wheels now and i was going to drop to a 15"wheel/32" bfg ko combo. The price for the soft 8's and the kos are equal in price to the same size tire in 16" and keeping my stock wheels but i dont want to get the soft 8's if they will cause me troubles. ( i know what lift is needed etc...for the tires) i can get 32" ko in 15" for $107 a piece.

also..what is the best size tire in 16" that is equivalant to the 32"x11.5x15"

thanks!! [drink]

I wouldn't do the 3.75 if I were you.... Turning is going to be rough, trimming involved, and your ball joints will suffer more.

Stock BS = 5.075

Don't order rims with a BS less than 5 for agressive tread 33's!

I have 4.75BS with 33's and they rub like crazy!

(plastic is GONE, metal is trimmed back 1.5")

EDIT: This is WITH a 2"BL

HUMM...i wonder if this would still be a problem with a bfg at/ko in 32"

Most 32's are 11.5" wide, they are thus much easier to get to fit

I'm running 32" x 11.5" Dayton Timberline AT's on 4.75" backspacing and only had to trim out an inch of plastic on the front and rear. I've got a 2" BL and a PML also, though.

it stinks that i have 16" wheels and the tires are so much more expensive. If i was kicking around the idea of 33" at/ko as well but i don't want to shell out the money for the 16" size to keep my stock wheels with a good back spacing.so....i guess i am out of luck if i want to use 33" at/ko on soft 8 wheels with 4.75" backspacing...grr...decisions.
