I like the idea of being able to get radio stations anywhere in the country while driving in your home range. That being said; here's my question(s).Has anyone upgraded their factory radio with a direct replacement XM Satellite unit or the available upgrades (re: add-ons)? If so, is the system all it is cracked up to be? Furthermore, did you have to upgrade the factory speakers?

I put a Sirius system in my truck a couple weeks ago. Yes it is every thing it is cracked up to be. I haven't listened to AM/FM radio since and rarely CD's. I haven't changed the speakers yet.

Sirius thread

A better site for your questions related to XM and Sirius Club XM

You can do a search in this forum, there are several people that have upgraded to XM, so far I may be the only one with Sirius.

I put a XM Pioneer head unit in my Xterra 2 weeks ago and I love it. I have not listened to anything but that for 2 weeks.I sometimes wish my commute to work was a little longer.
