This is the second time I have started a thread on this, but I am very interested in it. Moderator, you can delete my previous thread in General Discussion.
What do all of you who are into sound and electronics know about this? Is it gonna work? Seems like a lot of opportunity for interference.
Fill me in...

Its going to work. XM is already out. Sirus radio will be out later in the year. XM is 9.95 a month and requires you buy at least a $150 tuner to recieve the service. This is true even if you buy a new pioneer or alpine that are "XM ready". Right now its available in D.C and maybe Nashvill area( not sure). SHould be spreading by the end of the year, John

Yeah, it does seem a little steep. But, like all first year electronic gizmos, I am sure the price will come down. I am still waiting for MP3 players to come down some. But since 1998, when they really first hit bigtime, they really have not moderated that much.
Too much for me to pay right now, but I think it would be cool to have an all Reggae station on your dial, even if you live in North Carolina.

What? No reggae station in North Carolina? Oh, that's right, they're south of the Mason-Dixon line.
