You are able to install those screens into almost any head rest. They are thin and as a stand alone item, not very expensive. The real cost is the installation. The custom work required and the hidden cost of doing this will end up costing you more then it's worth.

If you are serious about getting these screens and/or video games or vcr, then look for those centre console or overhead console units. They are fairly simple to install and cost is a fraction of the custom set-up.

I can stop by the stereo shop sometime and try to take some more pictures/ask them any questions people may have about the price/labor/etc. of anything in the truck.

Let me know if there's anything people want clarified, I'm sure the shop would be happy to get some more exposure

Just so its understood, this is a very reputable shop here in west Michigan. It might seem ghetto from these posts, but around here its pretty much a given that if you want quality components and excellent craftsmanship this is the first place you'd go (and no, I don't work there).

Got my 300W tripp inverter. I'll probably just get the steelhorse totebag that fits a 9" tv/vcr combo between the front seats and hook up the N64 up for roadtrips. 54 bucks for the inverter, 53 bucks for the bag and 189 for the tv/vcr ...DONE!!

A video screen mounting where the dome light is would be sweet, but probably too expensive.

Is this one of those "city boys" trucks? Cause if it is all you need to do now is lower it 6" that would be sweet, then extend the wheels 9" that would be wicked, then get a color shifting paint job that would be pimpin', then those "city boys" could sit in the k-mart parking lot playing the playstation waiting for their girlfriends to get done working. Oh yea, don't forget the fuzzy dice those are really rad.
Gee I wish I had room in the back of my truck for 3 subwolfers, but its full with backpacks, water, food, crowbars, guns and hiking boots.

It's actually a show truck, not a "city boy" truck, whatever that means. As I said before, the shop that installed the stereo isn't "ghetto". They sell top-of-the-line home and car stereo equipment, and this is just one of their projects. Would you rather buy a stereo from a shop that takes their trucks to Moab or a shop that can consistently win stereo competitions? Yeah, it's overboard, but are most of the project trucks for offroad companies...

Anyway, I stopped by the shop a few days ago and spoke with one of the salesmen...The truck is actually for sale for $29,999, and it's currently being driven by the owner of the store.

he needs the Xterra roof rack to hold the replacement glass, his spare tire (it's not underneath), his eardrums, and his passengers.

Other than that, I think it's a finely crafted setup. not that that is my bag baby.

I especially like the amp rack. If anything, they're inventive.
