what size is the sub...has any one replanced it with a another sub and put an amp on it thanks

8". No have not replaced it. I did not buy the fosgate system so I am putting in my own custom system.

I think I've read in the past that some people have replace the factory driver with an aftermarket 8" driver. Not sure if they swapped out the amp at all or not though.

before i re-did my system i concidered just buying a new sub to put in the factory enclosure. after studiing the enclosure i concluded that there is not enough airspace inside of it to meet the requirements of a new sub. As to replacing the factory amp - this is impossible to do if u want to kepp it in its factory position. this is because it is very small and behind the factory deck. even if you could find an amp that small i dont think there would be enough ventilation for it and it would probably overheat frequentally
