I had a JVC Sirius ready headunit installed last month.........Im just wondering what exactly does Sirius ready mean? I can control everything right from the radio right? What exactly do I need to purchase?

You need to buy the Sirius decoder. They make one for each different radio vendor. You add this to your radio, and then depending on how your head unit works, you select it as a input source. The capability of controlling it depends on the radio.

If you are wondering whether or not to subscribe to sirius I would say go for it. Since installing it last x-mas I very rarely listen to the radio anymore. No commecials and just about any type of music you want, and if you drive out of state a lot you never have to worry about loooking for radio stations. It is worth the $12.95.
