They're in! I've got a whole bunch if anyone needs one. They need to be turned in by the October 11th. If anyone wants I can run some up to the meeting place Sunday. Otherwise I'll bring what I have to the nex meeting or you can pick them up at your local library. It's better if we all turn them in as a group. That way we all get drawn at the same time. Anyway, let me know if your interested.

no man... trees are fine.. the difference is the permit allows you to cut one down from a forest versus buying one at a lot....

im really excited about the idea... i think it would be great fun and a lasting memory with my kids

The permits that I have and that are at the library are state wide permits. It's kind of like getting drawn for a hunting lic. That's why we need to submit them together. If we do them seperate some might get the Grand Canyon and some might get Prescott. All the permit is, is a little sheet of paper where you state where you'd prefer to cut a tree. They ask for 10 bucks and you send it off. Then depending on where they need to get rid of trees is where you are assigned. Any other questions or ideas of how to get together so that we can all do this together please let me know. Remember they are do by the 11th of next month.

It is fun I did it last year. Be prepared to search and search, unless you want a Charlie Brown tree. They are for the pinion pine not the nice ones.........

I did manage to find a good tree though.

They last a long time too, fresh and all, house smells good.

My wife is just too anal about her tree so it's a bought one again mad

Hey guys since our meeting is on the 10th, if everyone that will want to go and cut trees will bring 10 bucks. I will send off all of the permit requests. It's cutting it close but I think it's the only way we can get them all in at the same time. Unless people want to get together before then?
