I too just happened to look at the posts online so I decided to head over to Linda's in Surprise. I called Ty at the station and he said he was game so we started at 10am. Thanks to Gabe for the advice.

I rememove mine, not sure if I like it yet. I think I new set of stiffer shocks would help make the turns a bit easier.

Thought I had a good deal on 31" BFG AT's on 15" Desert Runner Rims, but the current owner is a bit too proud of his used tires, so I am going to either get the BFG AT KO's in a 265/70/17 (31.6"), or the rugged Trails in the same size as I have been told the 70/17's are a much better tire than the stock, but not as good off-road as the AT KO.
I would love to put the 285/70/17's on (32.7"), but think i would need the BL and trim to make those fit.

I also recently did a PML. If you both do BL's mabye I'll join in. What the hell right.

I'm currently running BFG/AT 31x10.5. With my PML I'm going to purchase either 32x11.5 BFG/MT or Goodyear/MTR of the same size. With all this BL talk I might have to push it up to 33's. My 31's are pretty much done for. Was going to get some new tread next week.

Unfortunately, there is no way to justify a BL to Brenda atm.... [Crybaby]

Gonna have to live with the PML and new tires for a while.....I will be happy to come watch/assist with beer drinking while you do yours tho

WOW. Looks awesome with those tires on there, how much did the tires set you back? If ya don't mind me asking. Tires are part of my future plans. My rims are only 15" tho I think, so they should be a little cheaper than 17's. I'm ordering the Shackles possibly this evening when I get home. Someone purchased a bunch of stuff from my yourfuturedomain.com site, so I made a bunch of commission this month smile

5 tires, mounting, disposal, tax, warranty, was $1100......Damn 17" rims.....the 15" tires are about 50 bucks less per tire.
Needless to say, I need to work some overtime shifts to pay for my mods.....bah...hate ot shifts on the ambo.
Musssst keeep modding!

P.S. you ahve a pm RiNkY

Yeouch. I think I'm going to go for the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. Tire Rack have them for $126 a piece and I can get them fitted / balanced for $10 each.

Or the Bridgestone Dueler M/T's for about $150 a piece. Gotta love 15" wheels! smile

Not sure how well the 265/70's will fit on my 2000 tho. I've got 31x10.5's on at the moment, but they rub slightly so I'd need to trim I think, even with the PML to fit anything bigger.

I just put the MT's in the cart at Tire Rack to find out how much shipping would be. $96.00 for 4 by UPS Ground. That ain't to bad! So for 4 the same size that I have now (31X10.5SR15) including shipping would be $679.60

You might check out 4wheelparts.com as well.
they have the BFG's that I have in a 31x10.50R15 T/A KO for 120.99 each, and the 32" for 127.99 each with free shipping with the warranty, but they have stores locally, so you can jsut go get them if you want

Nice. Thanks for the info. Didn't realize those guys did tires, even tho I was stood in their store a few weeks ago getting my tow strap and probably surrounded with them! lol. That's a pretty good deal on the 32's. I wonder how much rubbing I'd get tho after the PML. hmmmm. Tires are a couple months away yet, gotta get the PML done first, then wear out the tires I've got! smile

I've gotta say, I love my Dueler MTs, except for the way they've chewed away my wheel wells wink Honestly Rinko, I'd go with ATs if I were you. You're not going to get much more crazy than you did in Flag with the group at Fat Tire [ThumbsUp] . While MTs would've certainly have helped you in that instance, for your daily driving, the ATs would suit you best. smile

My shackles arrived on Friday. Considered bringing them and some tools camping, but figured the 130mile drive with the tracking possibly all over the place might not be such a good idea.

Hope to get them installed next weekend, but I'm also installing a wood floor in someones house, so migtht have to try and get it done one evening this week. Maybe Friday evening? Anyone up for giving this poor man a hand with his lift? smile

Thank you VERY much, but I just bought an '05 and won't have any use for them now. I'm sorry.

Edit to add: Man that looks GREAT with the new tires!

Just left Discount Tire. Rolling some 32x11.5 BFG Mud-Terrains. The X looks sick. I'll post a pic as soon as I get my digi cam to work. It's not in a good mood today. I've noticed a little rubbing in the front on turn while going into elevation change. Curb or whatever. More rubber, less plastic. smile

Damn, didn't know 32's would fit so well. Maybe after the PML I'll consider that size if I don't get the 05.
