Quick note on Directions for you West Valley Folks. I-10 East/South. After the Airport Exit at US-60 East, drive for a long time and exit at SR-79, turn left off exit ramp. Turn Right at stop sign and you'll see the old Texaco Station on the left side of old US-60.

Head Count:

Did I miss anyone?

What a fun day!

Yayyyyyyyy for the Easy Button. Used my locker a few times, even tho it probably wasn't needed - Hell, I've got it, so why not use it! smile

I guess I knocked my Differential on somethin and it was dripping slowly at the end of the trail. Tightened the bolts a little and it seems to have stopped the leak, will top off the diff tomorrow.

Go Left, Go Left - That's the easy way I hear them cry over the FRS, as I end up taking the fricken virticle drop line down one obstical. Had a fun time tho. A Jeeper dude tagged along and was a pretty cool guy. I'll post a few photos once I get them on my site in a few mins.

You were ab;e to cross the Gila, did you go out through the Kelvin Highway, or backtrack the trail and leave the way you came in?

Crossed the Gila and then ran the train tracks for just a bit due to a washout on the trail. Then went back along a trail to the diversion dam and crossed the dry part of the river.

Great day even for running half the day with a gimpy driverside frontend. Made it all of the way home with a rachet strap jammed in between the lower control arm and the stop. Felt like a Nascar boy on the way home as the truck was definitely designed more for left turns! [Spit]

Looks as if no parts today. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to install the new anchor.

Yeaa, for some reason I thought you were behind me.

Well I fixed my leak this morning. Hopefully! smile Looks like I got some dirt nicely wedged up between the Diff cover and the Diff. Kinda made the cover bulge out a bit at the bottom. So I hammered it back flat on the anvil part of my vice. Cleaned off all the gunk, then applied more gunk. Just got done bolting it back up in there, now have to wait an hour for the sealant stuff to dry before filling her up. A few pics below.

You can kinda see the bulge is at the bottom of this one, where the dirt pushed up in there.

On the bottom of the diff itself was a bunch of Dirt / Sand kinda wedged in there.

Nice and clean, after 1 hour of scraping the old crappy gunk stuff off. And hammering out the dent.
