I remeber you mentioned that you were thinking about arranging a get togteher to run concurrent to the Moab Easter Safari(25th-31st).

Are you still thinking of doing this and has any type of planning been done?

It seems to be a great time to have another large scale gathering because it would be about 3-4 months ahead of GOX 2002 and those of us with low incomes could have some time to save between the two events.

As a side bennefit most Utah schools/universities have moved their Spring Break to the two weeks during the Winter Olympics, so the normal Spring Break crowd would be minimal.

carefull using the term GOX in referance to anything but GOX in ouray...

GOX IS the Gathering Of Xterras.
It will forever be held in Ouray Colorado.
I would think that anything prior or after should be called something different.
However, having a pre-GOX(used with permission) might be cool somehow linked to the event.
But then who am I to say.(

I agree that GOX will always be the original in Ouray no matter what.
Although I like the idea of a GOX-West, GOX-East, GOX-Ocala, GOX-Moab, and GOX (always Ouray) thats just my opinion.

Anyway, this trip to Moab was Ian's idea and he can name it whatever he wants, if he's even doing it.
Which brings me to my original question, "Ian whats up with this?!"
