Rousch Creek, Paragon, Pine Barrens....etc. Head over to http://www.niora4x4club.com or www.NJAX.net or www.fat4x4.com That's where most of the action is for local wheeling...and there's plenty of stock trucks...so you don't have to worry about fitting in either.

actually we don't do alot of local wheeling. We go to the Pines about once a year since that is about all we can stand. If we actually wheel we head to PAP or RC. Mudding always sounds fun, but really you just break shit and get overly dirty.

nice to see another NJ guy on here. i live right near you in Atlantic Highlands. besides for Mikkaa i've got the only modded X in the area so if you see a blue '02 with a bumper and sliders thats me.
there's an area about half an hour from us that i went to once that was a fun place to mess around in. i even got stuck in the mud there. i don't know how legal it is to go there, but people go all the time so if you want i can PM you if i ever go back

Yeah - its just Steve who doesn't wheel much...too cold, too rainy, the Eagles are playing, etc.

I've seen a lifted one really close to me in the Port Monmouth Area. I'm getting ready to order the 5" lift kit for the truck, anyone had any bad experiences with this? Any other recommendations? Tires are still nice and new (chopped) but typical for 4wd... Plan on a few other items just to help me. I have also towed with this truck btw. Towed a vehicle from here out to Davenport Iowa, with the exception of the hills in PA i got around 14-15 mpg towing a 3000lb vehicle on a steel trailer. Edited* Non legal is always fun but not always fun getting caught.... If you see a Silver 05-06 body design, with a "red" (used to be) it's grey, letter X with the year in the middle of it in the lower left hand window of the rear window, thats me. The sticker that i got in the mail from nissan when i bought it. i think it's grey now due to sun fade though LOL
