The 2005+ Rear Bumper / Tire Carrier & the underbody skid plates prototype test fit went very well this week. Only very minor revisions were needed, so I expect the designs to be done in 2 weeks and the first units to ship in 6-8 weeks.

The rear will be offered with or w/o a tire carrier. A 33 will still fit with the bumper only. Intergrated Class 3 hitch and 1" thick recovery points.

We still need to design a radiator skid for people who dont have our front bumper, but the current package is four plates & covers: Engine, Trans, Tcase & Fuel tank. Requires only two holes to be drilled.

Price for the bumper and rack will be the same as the 1st Gen. $749.00 in black.

The rear only, preliminary pricing is $399 bare and $464 in black powder coat.

Skid package - bare steel: $489.00

No pics on the rear, I forgot...I know shoot me. laugh

New pic from the other side and individual pricing.

Skids are done! Pic one. More coming.

$486.00 for the set of four plates. 3/16" steel.

Seperately:

$98.00 - Engine/Oil Pan/Front Diff
129.00 - Transmission
$105.00 - Transfer Case
$197.00 - Gas Tank

We still need to do a Radiator/Front plate for those who dont want to get our front bumper. Eta about 4 weeks on that one. Probably about $100.

Jim

Hey Jim, You taking orders for the skids? How thick are they? Don't mind bare metal if they won't rust off soon.
Thanks

Sure, anyone who wants in on the first batch is welcome to order now on the skids or rear.

You will need to paint the skids, but but it doesnt have to be pretty since it's underneath...and it will save you about $100.

CB antenna would work great on the front bumper. I would also think it would be easier to mount once the rear tire carrier is on the bumper.

Will you sell just the gas tank skid? Eventually I want to add 'em all, but it's a bucks thang.
Are the holes I'd have to drill easy as the slider holes to drill?
thanks!

Just ordered my sliders and went ahead and asked him to throw in the gas skid. i would do the whole kit, but it's too pricy for me right now. i'm gonna get it little by little. the gas tank skid he says is the most expensive of the 4. it's $179 bare steel, and extra for the zinc coating. I thought about getting the TC skid, but it's $95, and i thought i'd space them out a bit. getting the sliders and the skid plate put a hole in my pocket as it is. He said there's a 4 week wait on sliders and a 6 week wait on the skids. i'm so stoked to get them. I'll let you know when they arrive, and post some pics.
