SLR-designed torsion bar anchor and adjuster are crafted from 4130 plate and tubing. A must for use with additional weight (winch, bumper) or preloading bars to obtain lift. A direct OEM replacement part using better material and TIG welded to ensure proper penetration. Heat treated to obtain unmatched strength and durability.

When using a larger diameter torsion bar or preloading your bars to obtain ride height, the OE torsion bar anchor becomes a weak link in your suspension. In SLR's experience with the use of our 300m torsion bars being used under extreme conditions, the OE torsion bar adjuster starts to fatigue and crack at the weld seams. SLR has analyzed and Rockwell tested an OE torsion bar adjuster. The OE adjuster did not register on the C-scale.

OEM torsion bar adjusters were not designed to withstand the abuse of using 4340 or 300m material torsion bars. In my opinion, OEM did not start with the right material.

We have designed these anchors to use up to a 30mm torsion bar (OEM 24.5). These anchors with SLR bars will give you additional torsional twist and a better spring rate. Testing and design is complete (yes conceptual design to delivery in less than 6 months eek . Pricing and availability will be updated on 2slr.com. Product release date estimate mid/late November-early December.

Is this a comparison picture of SLR (top) and OEM (bottom)? Or, two different types of SLR anhcors?

...Just trying not to make any assumption...

Is it just me or does the top one look shorter? Are the SLR bars the same as the SAW T-Bars. I have those on my truck, and I am wondering if Spencer's are different, and if they are better for some reason?
