I'll try to get video of that online tonight. I watched it this morning, and it was fairly amusing watching you climb your truck.

My truck and Mirach's sitting in the sun outside the rock garden. Add Jorge and Miikkaa, and there were only 4 2002's there I think.

All those pics from Saturday, and none of the Frontier with you....Shame on you. [Laughing] Maybe I should have slowed down a little so that I could get my picture taken.

Cliff

Still good pics though...

My father-in-law just bought a Mavica CD-400 that does that. Pretty slick, and you can adjust the timing between exposures. It also has a mode where you can manually shoot up to 10 frames and it will build an animated GIF out of them. Nice toy.

Here is the video I took at ECXC. For some reason I didn't get very much footage, about 20 minutes in total. It shakes a little bit sometimes, I think this is because my camera took too much of a beating this weekend.

The "Low" versions are pretty crappy. If you have a slow connection I suggest downloading the "High" ones.

Well, here they are...

Day 1 - Mitsu gets stuck in mud.
Low - 320x240
High - 640x480

Day 2 - Frontier Gary gets stuck in the same mud.
Low - 320x240
High - 640x480

I just don't get why someone would voluntarily drive into something like that. I'd rather not fill my drums and hubs etc. with nasty silty mud if I can avoid it.

That was an insane idea of trying to pull that truck at such a sharp angle (at least that is what it looked that they were going to do). Good thing they figured that out before they started pulling.

That was a messed up Pop Charger.. Glad to see that is did not let any of that crappy stuff through to the engine.

No, that wasn't the plan. Oleg pulled his truck halfway in so he can reach Mitsu's winch without being knee deep in mud. Yes, he could have ran in, but it wouldn't have been pretty.

that seemed to be the consesus of most of the guys there for ECXC. of everybody at the mudhole that day (8 trucks?) only rob and i played in the mudholes. i can't explain it. i like mud. i enjoy mucking about in it. i like the truck with a nice layer of mud splash on it. i don't mind cleaning it out of/off of the truck later. thus far, it hasn't bothered my alternator (i know...my day is coming). much less damaging for my un-armored truck than rock crawling (which i enjoy quite a bit too). guess i'm still stuck in that 8 year old boy "mud pie" phase.
