Well, today I decided to go into a local muffler shop to buy a Flowmaster Muffler. I decided on the 50 Series SUV Performance and somehow or another ended up with a Super 40 Series Delta Flow.

Question is, is that a better or worse muffler. Called Flowmaster tech line and they said main difference was the sound.

Looking for anyones expertise. Should I stick with the 40 Series or go back and demand the 50 series. I'll see what info I get till tommorrow since the shop is already closed.

only difference is sound, if you want the sound to be less audible, then go with the 50. If you like the sound it makes now, then ofcourse stay with the 40

if your questioning performance wise, then no their is absolutely no difference.

What did you end up paying, walking out the door for the exhaust?
