I was wondering if anyone is running 265/75/16 on a 2000 or 2001 without a lift? If so can you share your experience or maybe some pics? Or is this even possible? Dammit! Can A moderator please move this to the tire and wheel forum where I meant to put it in the first place.

There are several doing so, it's a 32x10.50. Seeing how 32x11.50 doesn't require a lift...

I'm running that size on an '03 with no mud flaps and I am not even close to rubbing. No trimming was done.

They are actually "pre-trimmed" so to speak. My point is I'm doing it easily so it shouldn't be "that" big of a deal fitting it.

I have 265/75/R16 on my 2001. There was some serious rubbing before I took off the flaps and trimmed a bit. I'll try to remember to snap a picture tomorrow if nobody does it first.

Ta-da: His question was if a lift is necessary, it isn't. Trimming on the other hand, is. I have since added the 2002+ mudflaps w/ my trimmed flares and they do just fine. Brent

Maybe I should add this in, I'm not running the mudflaps. I took them off not long after I got the X. So thats not a problem. I mainly wanna see pics kinda like the one Brent just posted. By the way Brent, thats not fresh cowshit on the side of your truck is it? My dad used to say "Cowpatties: natures landmines"

Don't know if this concerns you at all, but I heard that the 32's won't fit under the X as a spare if you have a factory hitch...that's the only thing keeping me at 31's or I'd be all over some 32's...
I've heard that some people have squeezed them in there, aired way down, but since I don't plan on investing in a compressor in the event of a flat...and my hitch has saved me some heartache lately (rearended twice in one month with no damage, pulled out of stucks etc.)

It has been done on the older ones by a few, but some weren't able to. The newer hitch for the 2002+ models has more room and should take a 32 fine.
