Are all of the aftermarket UCA's shorter than stock between the pivot points and the ball joints? I'm looking to square my front wheels back up. The wear on the outside of the tires suggests positive camber even though my alignment is within range. Anyone know if UCA's can be swapped to correct this but not actually necesitate (word?) longer shocks/lift? I'm happy with the PML because I can still fit in my garage.

Just set the camber to get the TIRES aligned properly...and you're done. If you are wearing only the front tire's outter edges, you are correct, the tops of the tires are still outboard too far, and you need to reel that adjustment back in. If you are just cornering too fast, etc...you can get the same pattern of course, but you can still compensate by reeling in the camber adjustment.

Thanks TJ. Back to the alignment shop then.

Also if you have the T-bars cranked that will throw off your camber to.

I have messed with them, but I also went to the alignment shop afterwards.

Too much toe in could also cause that type of wear on the front tires.

True - the toe in could do it too...but on both tires, after a crank job...the camber's the first bet...and the alignment guy would most likley set all the parameters anyway.
