From having bought the full Stage III I'd say it sucks ass. Buy Calmini instead. Try searching for more comments. Did you think you were the first person with this question?

There is a lot of info on SLR, that's for sure. I've had the lift and steering on my truck for about 6 months. I have had no problems at all and the truck with the lift, 32inch tires and the steering works flawlessly both on and off road.

On the road, with the rear anti-sway bar removed it handles great and off road it really seems to soak up more of the rough even at speed. I can say I have been very happy with my descision.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me here.

I just use SLR 3 leaf AAL and am very happy with it. Calmini UCA's up front.

You could have my SLR UCA's [Finger]
if you want them.
Either pick them up, or figure out how to prepay shipping.

I finally removed them. Bright blue UCA's installed.

Now if I can find the correct spring bushings, I'll remove the sagged SLR spring pack.

Oh, yeah, I'm not too satisfied with the product or Lack of Service.

But this is just my experience.

I've had the SLR lift for about a year and a half and haven't had any problems with it. From my understanding, there were problems with the spring pack, which I don't have, and the UCAs. Apparently the spring packs will sag if you carry too much weight in the rear for extended periods of time and the UCAs were too short and adversely affected the alignment (anyone jump in if this is wrong).

The product is solid as far as I'm concerned. For some reason I haven't had the alignment issue. Maybe I'm just lucky. However, I would probably choose differently if I were buying today. Not because I'm saying their product is crap, but because of a lot of negative feedback I've read here. I review many things I buy and this would be no exception. Additionally, when I was initially researching this, the SLR lift was thought of favorably on this site.

IMHO...just my $0.02...YMMV...

Steel_City_X,

What was/were your issues with the front UCA's? I would be interested in driving down from Denver for them if they are not too fragged.

Alignment issues. The set that I have was the early design.

They contributed to the premature wear of 800.00 worth of tires. I'll check to see if all the parts are in the box after removal.

I would suggest saving the tire wear and seriously consider other options. I even think that SLR modified the tubular UCA design. Carlton had some great comparison pictures a year or so ago.

I finally replaced the rear spring packs on Friday. I no longer can look across the top of my truck. At least 2" of lift returned. My guess is that it will settle a little, but I'll take it over the ass dragging condition that it has been.

Again, I got rid of the springs I removed, hopefully they end up in the steel mill very quickly.

All that bemains from the SLR lift is the differential drop and the bilsteins.
