Thanks Brian. That OHV park was a blast! Cool pics.

By the way, did you have the front disconnected?

That's from the tire spinning in the dirt as it loses traction...

So why does it looked scrubbed clean? If there were a rock or something embedded in the dirt under the tire I suppose that would account for it.

It does seem a bit too far inside on the tire to be from rubbing on the fender lip, unless Ned put in 3" spacers or something

Ian is correct.
That skid mark is from the first failed attempt to get up on the step. I sorta had the X in 2WD. There are plenty of rocks just under the silt from people stacking rocks to get traction up onto the steps (you will notice all the holes around where our rear tires are?). Anyway, the X wasn't climbing so I gunned it a bit and spun. Then looked at the transfer case lever and realized I was in 2WD....then switched to 4WD and climbed up! Chalk it up to a bone head manuver, brain fart or whatever

Finally got some numbers for those who want to know. Did the 20 degree ramp at Calmini with the front sway bars connected and went up 80" (as measured perpendicular to the ramp). With a wheel base of 102" (is that right?) the RTI would be a 784. Not bad!

Pics of the RTI and of Calmini are here: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=1611231&a=13581818

Wheelbase is 104", giving you a score of 769.

Not bad. For comparison, I ramped 712 with the SLR lift.

Some cool 'Zuk's out there at Steve's.

Just so I know how accurate a comparision it is, did you have the front hooked up or not? ...I wanted to unhook the front but it was too damn hot out there! Lay on that blacktop and you fry like an egg in a couple of minutes and my dumb QD was stuck.
