I just had an alignment done at my local shop and they told me my center link is warn and has some play in it. Is this something to be concerned about at 16000 miles. I just cranked my t-bars 4 days ago, if I take it into the dealer with the tbar crank void anything in my warranty?

That Tbar crank will cause additional wear because the tierods will push upward on the CL. Wear after 16k miles is very likely if you wheel the truck much. I've killed stock CL's in one outing prior to running an SLR steering setup (now solid axle).

Rather than replace stock junk over and over again, do yourself a favor and save up for a Calmini kit. After about 3 worn stock centerlinks the kit pays for itself.

G, where'd you take it for alignment? It looked ship-shape to me yesterday..

Andy, his bars were only adjusted this past weekend, and I'm pretty sure Gbizzle there, has not gone offroad yet. Sounds like a hustle too me

Thanks Dbax, I am taking it into the dealer tomorrow morning anyways, if it is warn then my warranty should fix it.

it's pretty easy to tell still...

Just grab the right front and try to wiggle it. Watch the CL when you do this. If you have slop in the CL it's pretty obvious.

Went to Peoria Nissan today and they said centerlink was a-okay. I then asked the to redo my alignment, because only the toe was aligned yesterday. They did that and even the alignment that I received at "Brake Masters" was bad. So I went back over there with my spec printout and showed them not only did they try to sell me a part the wasn't bad they also did a bad alignment. Needless to say they refunded my money and the manager said he still thinks have a centerlink problems as far as he could tell yesterday and that I am in for more problems than I want. a$$hole.
