I am lifting my truck using all calmini parts but buying it piece by piece instead of the whole kit. looked at SLR and was wondering what the best shocks to use are and where to get them. thanks alot.

If you looked at SLR then you should have seen that they offer Bilsteins. I believe Calmini is offering them too but do call them and find out.

Bilsteins are the best bet. Don't buy them from SLR, though. That's risky (check in the manufacturer forum).

They don't sell any shocks you can't buy elsewhere.

I second the motion about checking out the forums for manufacturers, SLR has shady customer relations, this comes from personal experience too.

Call them up, though. They have different damping levels available that aren't shown on their website. I've used AC for numerous purchases over the years and never had problems with their customer service.

AC has supplied me with many items go with them.
