Okay here is my issue.

Lately my X '04 is making a springy matalic squishy sound when it goes over bumbs or truns when is driven after been parked over night in a warm gararge. Or when it has been parked out side for a long period of time.

It has been about 2 months when this sound problem started.

I had taken to the dealer and they told me everything was fine and now problems with the breakes thought it could be related to the my truck have had the breaks replaced at 18,000 miles on it. The dealer was not able to find a couse

I now have 24,000 miles on it.

I think the problem had started when I was parked in a parking lot and one of those monster GM SUV was parked very close to me and I had also noticed that my left rear hub cap was knocked off.

Is it possible that the drive of this GM SUV nockerd my car and in doing so knocked off my rear hub cap and may have damaged my car which then had caused this sound to start?

I have gone off reading and take very good care of my truck stay on top of all the required maintenances as well.
I have never had any major machanical issues with it as well.

This is the first time and I hope it is not some major issue.

The car was bought brand new and is only will be 2 years old this June.

The sound seems to be coming form the left side of the car.

Does anybody think thay have a idea what this is?

What are "bumbs" and "truns" and "breakes" and "breaks" anyway?

Your problem sounds like shocks to me...
