Thanks Jeff. Yup, scooted right into the '07, but with our baby due mid May, Moab this year is a foregone conclusion. I tried to convince her to drive up Lions Back w/ me to induce labor, but she wouldn't go for it .. I'll see you in CO come August, or definitely at GONE7.

Lions back is closed.
But the truck looks great, Jeff. Very clean SAS. Now get a gas tank skid on that thing before you end up turning a 19 gallon tank into a 14 gallon one.
...and I have to give you shit about the bling chrome diff cover.

Wait...so the stock X tank is 19 gallons? Maybe that explains why I can only go 200 miles to the tank (since it only holds 16 gallons)

The diff cover that came with the Axle looked like sh1t and that was the only kind predator had in stock! At first I didn't like it, but now I think it enhances the vehicle's "redneck appeal". See you on the trails, man.... .... Thanks everybody for all the compliments and kind words. I'll post some more pics once I get her out on the trails.

Since Harsh Terrain is a manufacturing company (not just a shop), I can't really speak on their behalf for prices. I am very impressed at the quality and believe strongly that it must be seen in person to be appreciated. It is the stoutest 3-link I have ever seen on any Dana 44 front end. I can't wait to get it offroad so that I can post more information about the functionality of the system.

Obviously, you were a one off...and others would most likely benefit from what they learned doing yours, etc...so you could certainly caveat that you are not their spokesperson, and the price you paid is the price YOU paid...with NO implications as to what anyone else paid, would pay....etc. Or just say you spent so much that you're kind of sheepish now, or whatever.

Ya, Jed is cool. He's a good friend of mine. He did all the stuff on my Jeep Cherokee. We talked over rear bumper tire carrier and sliders today for the new X. Just a few of the old stuff he did..

Sold the XJ to buy/build an X! Just did a PML, and the rest of the stuff is slowly trickling in. Looking to do a SAS next winter. I should have everything gathered up by the end of summer.
