i noticed that as the 06's are released and bought, a common question that i see on the
boards is....
"will a part for the 05 fit on my X which is
an 06?"
"do they make this for an 06??"

well duhhhhh!!!! please refrain from lame and questions like this.

IMO i would not think it financially smart
for nissan to release a redesigned X in 05
and follow that up with ANOTHER completely
redesigned X in 06.
so i think it's safe to say that 05 and 06 are
essentially identical vehicles aside from
changes in standard options.

Yeah it seems lately there are a lot of repeat questions....it is almost like people have never seen the search button. Maybe noobs think you need a special invitation to use it. I almost never have to post a question because it has been covered already.

Thanks for the link xterrock to this thread. That is a pretty lame question to ask on these boards... 'does an '05 part fit on an '06?' I mean who would ask a question like that? I'm glad that my thread about the cold air intake didn't mention anything about the '05 vs. '06, I was just wondering if anybody made a cold air intake that fit an '06 model xterra. I could care less about an '05 model even if they are the same, I drive an '06 and that's my main concern. But, these boards are for learning and gaining knowledge about our trucks and how to improve them with new ideas from others. It's safe to say that not everybody will know everything and the the ever-so-dreadful question of will an '05 part fit my '06 will come up again and somebody will complain of course.
