Before somebody feels the need to say this isn't Xterra related, notice that he is using one of the rear seat cushions from the Xterra as a rest and is sitting on the other one. 101 uses and counting. The seat worked great. We couldn't even see the targets without using the scope or the video camera zoomed in. He's only 9. He, the gun and the seat cushions impressed me thoroughly.

Damn good shot, whats the distance on that? The wind is blowing to boot. Way to get out there and teach muzzle awarness and respect for the weapon. [ThumbsUp]

About 150 yards. He's very safety conscious. I started training him 7 years ago and reinforce it frequently. He never takes the power of a weapon for granted. He treats slingshots, blowguns and pellet/BB guns with the same respect. He understands the physics involved and applies them to each shot. This is his first time shooting this particular rifle. I had rough zeroed it only moments prior to this series of shots. What amazes me the most is the fact that he can estimate distance and drop by looking through the scope. I still haven't figured out how he does this. I have to look at a target in context with its surroundings to make a distance estimate, then I have to look at the drop chart and holdover using that as a guide. I think he has a picture of the bullet's trajectory in his head somehow. He's an amazing little boy.

Try right clicking and "Save target as". I don't know why it won't just download and play automatically. Probably some kind of setting at the server.
