Hello, I'm a new member but don't have a Xterra yet. Currently looking at a 2002 XE, 5sp, Silver.
Do any of the members have any info on the '02. Such as reliability and performance? If so I would really appreciate it.

I got an 02, no probs yet. I bought it used (i am 18) with 47000 mile on it. I now have 55000 and no probs. Very reliable except for the altornator, thats if you drive through alot of mud. But easy fix, nice for you ti join,

Do any of you "wavers" ever read the post or are you just trying to increase the number of posts you have????
I have a 2002 SE/SC 5 Speed, bought it new it now has 32,500 miles...no problems at all with exception to a problem with the superchrger that was covered by the warranty and hasn't acte dup since. Just an FYI-the Xterras are gas pigs and it's not a sports car. A lot of people have bought Xterras and posted complaints about gas mileage and power. They are the minority though, there's a lot of people on here that are very very happy with their babies.
