Ok, so I've just gotten the 07 SE, and it came with 2 little silver keys, & I...uh...don't know where they go or what they go to. I kinda feel like an ass for asking, but better to know then to just have (or lose) these little keys w/o knowing where they go or what to do w/ them.

would they be to the lock on the cargo basket up top?

I checked to see if that would work, but my cargo basket on top doesn't have a lock. at least, no where on the exterior that I can find.

Also, checked the manual to see what it says about keys and it was not at all helpful. (didn't even mention these other silver keys)

They are for the rear locker that comes on the OR model.

spare tire lock maybe? call your sales guy. he shouldve explained what they were for before you drove off.

I know that it seems like I've got my head in my...well, you know, but I KNOW that they don't open the doors.

locking gas cap?

some vehicles come with a plain looking key which is a valet key. they only open the door and start the engine. they dont unlock glove boxes or etc.

little silver key is kind of vague. pictures always help.

No locking gas cap. Checked. Not valet key. And I'll get a picture of the "little silver key" on later.

In case people checked back, I eventually DID find out what the little silver keys that came w/ my X were for...they locked my spare tire in b/c the dealer that the truck came from was in a..."questionable" area & they didn't trust people not to steal the spare tire from under the truck. I think they could have thrown in a locking gas cap too, but alas, no luck.
