Those are some good numbers at the wheel. Love that flat torque curve.

Whoa, the drivetrain manage to steal away 50 hp? That's 25% drivetrain loss, which is kinda sad for a manual transmission.

The LT1 camaros dynoed around 250, rated at 275 to 285. The Mustang Mach1 dynos at around 280, rated at 305 hp. I know these aren't trucks, but if the truck is put into 2wd should that even make a difference?

Were those results gathered from a 4WD dyno setup or was it a standard dyno with the X in 2WD?

Thanks for sharing the info.

I'd really like to see the Dyno sheet for an X with a snorkle and a new exhaust like a Flowmaster or something.

It was dynoed on a 2 wheel dyno. 25% is pretty good considering that the t-case steals alot of power. I will post new dyno numbers when I put the snorkle and my custom dual exhaust on it, as well as with dual electric fans

Regarding driveline loss:

The 305hp Titan and 345hp Ram (2wd)are both dynoing 250-260hp at the wheels. Everyone thinks that Nissan is under rating their engine output.

The 305hp LS-1 Z28/TransAms were dynoing at 295-300hp at the wheels. GM was severly under rating these cars; they were more like 335hp. Probably to keep the 345hp LS-1 vette buyers from griping.

That could be too, but most manufacture's dyno the engine only with no accessories (power steering, A/C pump, fan, etc). You would be not beleive how much that can steal. Some times they put lower numbers for insurance reasons. For eg the 2004 Dodge SRT4, dodge says it makes 230 hp and 250 lb/ft but me and my buddy dynoed one that had 287 hp and 292 lb/ft. Dodge did this for one reason, so the insurance would be decient.
